The new A-Class

With the new A-Class, Mercedes-Benz is opening up a new chapter in the compact segment: markedly emotive in design, with powerful engines ranging from 80 kW (109 hp) to 155 kW (211 hp), extremely efficient with emissions from just 98 g of CO2/km and a best-in-class drag coefficient of 0.27. At the same time the new model underlines that for Mercedes-Benz, safety is not a question of price – the standard specification includes, amongst other things, the radar-based COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST system.

For the sporty compact model from Mercedes, die Presse-Partner have developed and realized the press kit and the A-Class magazine.

Mercedes-Benz Style Coupé: The Style Rebel

With its Concept Style Coupé, appearing at Auto China (23 April to 2 May 2012), Mercedes-Benz made a convincing statement in favour of avantgarde design among sporty executive coupés. The four-door coupé is a rebel when it comes to style: nonconformist, provocative and masculine. Its breathtakingly sporty proportions and powerfully dynamic design idiom, featuring the interplay between concave and convex surfaces that is so typical for Mercedes, give this four-door coupé its unmistakable look. Technical highlights include its striking headlamp design featuring innovative indicators, the new four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 155 kW (211 hp) and the all-wheel drive system 4MATIC. die Presse-Partner die Presse-Partner have been intensely involved with the communication of the Concept Style Coupé right from the beginning and researched and wrote all texts of the press kits.

Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake

With the new CLS Shooting Brake, Mercedes-Benz is once again setting an example when it comes to creativity of design, and as such highlighting its leading role in this area: in terms of its proportions, the new CLS is quite clearly a coupé, but with five doors and a roof which continues through to the rear, it promises some remarkable new possibilities. The idea of the four-door coupé – successfully introduced in 2004 with the first CLS and long imitated in the meantime – has now been taken to new heights and to innovative effect. The result is automotive independence at its most beautiful. die Presse-Partner have been intensely involved with the communication of the CLS Shooting Brake since spring 2010 (Concept Shooting Brake) and researched and wrote all texts of the press kits.

Mercedes-Benz E 300 BlueTEC HYBRID: the world's most economical luxury-class model

Mercedes-Benz is continuing its hybrid initiative with the new E 300 BlueTEC HYBRID, the world's most economical luxury-class model (4.2 l of diesel/100 km, 109 g CO2/km). Following the launch of the S 400 HYBRID in 2009, Mercedes-Benz is now setting new standards for luxury-class business cars with the E 300 BlueTEC HYBRID. This diesel hybrid is available in the European market as a Saloon and Estate from June 2012. In parallel the E 400 HYBRID powered by an electric motor and a V6 petrol engine will be launched in the American market, and later in other countries such as Japan and China. die Presse-Partner have been intensely involved with the communication of the hybrid-strategy since fall 2011, researched and wrote all texts of the press kits, and took care of the publication of the brochure detailing the environment certificate of the E 300 BTH.

Safety innovations from Mercedes-Benz

With the Beltbag and the Active seat-belt buckle, two of the highlights from the ESF 2009 Experimental Safety Vehicle are due to go into production in a luxury-class model from Mercedes-Benz. The inflatable seat-belt strap (photo) is able to reduce the risk of injury to passengers in the rear in head-on collisions by lessening the strain placed on the ribcage. An electric motor in the Active seat-belt buckle extends and retracts the seat belt buckle automatically. In this way, the belt slack in the area of the pelvis and thorax can be reduced and passengers are secured more firmly in sideways and lengthways directions. For both topics, die Presse-Partner researched and wrote the press releases.
