In the presence of the Prime Minister of the German state of Baden-Württemberg, Winfried Kretschmann, on Nov. 30th 2016, Mercedes-Benz crashed an E-Class Saloon to mark the opening of what the company describes as the world's ultimate state-of-the-art crash test centre, built at its site in Sindelfingen. The new Vehicle Safety Technology Centre (or TFS, German acronym for Technologiezentrum Fahrzeugsicherheit ), opens up totally new opportunities, for example for vehicle-vehicle tests, for work on designing assistance systems and PRE‑SAFE®, and for the validation of vehicle concepts involving alternative drive systems. The new Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Cabriolet: The ultimate in open-air exclusivity

The first cabriolet from the Mercedes‑Maybach brand is celebrating its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show and is all set to hit markets in the spring of 2017 – limited to 300 examples and with a net price tag of 300,000 euros. Mercedes-Benz launches private car-sharing scheme in Munich
